Tell us a little about yourself (occupation, family, hobbies, etc).
I am a registered nurse in short term rehab. In my free time I love hiking, fishing, cooking, and trying pretty much anything new. I also love hockey and racing!

How was I Introduced to CrossFit Swarm?
I knew a few people who had tried CrossFit and loved it, and I was looking for something to do to stay active. Swarm was the closest CrossFit affiliate to me.

How long have you been CrossFitting?
About 1.5 years

My favorite Movement/WODs
Box jumps, deadlifts, burpees, pull ups// any workout with those movements, I love

Least Favorite Movement/WOD:
Rowing, Thrusters // 15.5

My proudest moment so far:
Getting chest to bar pull ups, ring dips, and C&J at 116#. All 3 surprised me!!

What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
Every day is different and challenging. Every accomplishment comes directly from your hard work and effort, and every day that you go to CrossFit, you walk out just a little stronger than before

What are you current goals?
I want to learn muscle ups, be better with squat cleans, and 100# overhead squat

What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
I don’t remember my first CrossFit workout actually, but I do remember wondering if I was going to puke haha

What I love most about CrossFit Swarm?
The environment! The coaches are personable and caring. They want you to learn and grow, and are just as excited as you are when you reach your goals, or hit a PR. I can’t count how many times I have finally nailed some movement, and one of the coaches is smiling as much as I am at that time. They are always positive and motivating, even when you aren’t. The other members of Swarm are also all caring, awesome people that are enjoyable to be around. The past couple of years in my life outside of the gym have been trying, but everyone at the gym makes me happy when I am there. I don’t picture myself enjoying a different CrossFit affiliate as much as this one.
