ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT : TARA HALL
Tell us a little about yourself (occupation, family, hobbies, etc).
I am a busy mom to 3, Joshua 23, Jaymee 14 (whom just started at Swarm) and Dillon 11. We own our own business, my husband calls it a “Fine Auto Recycling Facility”, so I can make my own hours. I love anything to do with the outdoors and water!
How was I Introduced to CrossFit Swarm?
I was doing small group classes at a place in Chicopee and wanted something closer to home/work with flexible hours. I contacted a friend that goes to Swarm. She answered a bunch of my questions & told me to give it a try that I would love it. She was right, thanks Moja!
How long have you been CrossFitting?
I started at the end of Oct 2013. Had to take a couple months off last summer and a couple months off this year.

My proudest moment so far:
Not really a moment but a bunch of moments since I have come back from my broken ankle. Since my break on 1/12/15 I have PR’d all my lifts…ALL OF THEM. Not sure how I am now stronger than BEFORE the break but I am!
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
That feeling you get when you just killed a WOD…..sometimes its just finishing a WOD that looked impossible! Its always you against you!
What are you current goals?
Kipping pull-ups and hand stands push-ups
What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
I have been squatting wrong this whole time?!? Never thought I was gonna understand all them acronyms (PR, AMRAP, OHS, PU…ect…).
What I love most about CrossFit Swarm?
The community! Everyone is so friendly, encouraging, makes you feel like you belong and we are definitely like a family! Must add that all the coaches know how to push me to do more than I think I can! The community & coaches have helped me become stronger than I have ever been and I have worked out forever! I have just been doing it wrong till I came to Swarm 😉

Thanks for recognizing all my hard work! I would also like to thank the coaches for getting me in such good shape that I could & did recover from a really bad break quickly! So happy I found all of you!
